When we were in the planning phase of building our dream home, a local architect told us about Bassett Construction and said, "If I could hire anyone to build for me it would be Paige Bassett." We checked with all the local building supply companies and asked who they would recommend and without exception they all recommended Bassett Construction. We also checked the with the homeowners of previous projects Paige had worked on and they too continue to have great things to say. I am happy to say they were all right and we are thankful we trusted Paige. We recently finished construction of a 4000 square foot home in the mountains. Every detail was covered. I will forever be Paige Bassett's greatest fan. It is rare in the construction business that a builder has integrity . When you trust a company with your vision and your finances it a sacred thing. I think the best recommendation I could give for this company is: they are trust worthy.

"I have worked with Bassett Construction on various residential and commercial projects for over 12 years. As an architect, I take pride in my designs and expect a contractor to take just as much pride as I do. Paige is on the top of my list of a very few select builders of choice when it comes to recommending a contractor for my projects. I appreciate that he is there on site, making sure the project is completed on time, within budget and per design. I highly recommend Bassett Construction for any project, large or small."
Review by Architect
We have built 4 houses and hiring Bassett Construction produced the best experience by far! Paige Bassett is a professional, knowledgeable, hardworking and honest individual who employs a crew that is dependable, consistent, respectful and top notch. No one with Bassett Construction is afraid of challenges or hard work. Our project consisted of tearing down an older home and building a new one; Paige was helpful with advice and he and his crew were undeterred when running into the unexpected (granite bedrock and unrecorded and broken old sewer and septic lines). We especially liked the fact that Paige not only runs the company but he wears/uses the tool belt and works alongside his crew from start to finish. Did I mention the unexpected broken sewer lines??? He and his crew waded in the muck to fix them quickly and without hesitation, even notifying our two neighbors (whose sewer lines cross our property and share a main line running down the side of our property) of the temporary problem. He, our architect and landscaper worked smoothly and effectively to produce a house that was on time and on budget. Of special note is the fact that our house has a four car garage which required special engineering to accommodate a shop space of equivalent size underneath; Paige handled this challenge with knowledge and confidence. We also asked that some existing stone steps near the location of both the old and new house be preserved and Paige honored this request even though we know it would have made his job easier to remove them. We recommend Bassett Construction without hesitation and will use them again if needed.

"Mr. Bassett is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the Contracting business. Over the years he has worked on many projects for my wife and I and we have never experienced any problem of any kind. These projects have varied in degrees of difficulty but he has shown his ability to meet deadlines and budgets on all projects. I am sure that over the 20 years we have been working with Mr. Bassett our work has exceeded a million dollars in value. There has never been a problem with his work as he is a perfectionist in all aspects of any project. We can only say that we would highly recommend Bassett Construction and Mr. Bassett to perform any and all projects that are presented to him. His work is the highest of quality and his crew is also professional at all times. Last but not least Mr. Bassett is trustworthy and dependable and that is probably the main reason we always depend on Paige Bassett and Bassett Construction"

"Basset Construction has been maintaining my home since for the past several years. I sought out Paige Bassett because he was the foreman on the job of building my home when he was with another company. I was looking for somebody who was fair, efficient, and extremely skilled. Paige has been and continues to be exceptional."

My family was so impressed with the work of Bassett Construction on our first major project that we hade them do two of them. Paige and his team took a 2400 sq ft shell with concrete floors and no walls and built a beautiful 4 bedroom house for us. They put in a granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Following a knotty pine theme, they built out 4 bedrooms, two baths and a laundry room. We now have French doors opening up to a great view of the lake. All of the materials used were top grade products from the windows to the flooring. The workmanship is impeccable. It only took them 6 weeks to transform the shell into a home! Last year we hired Bassett Construction again. This time it was a major remodel of a 50 year old 2,000 sq ft beach house. It involved gutting the place, replacing 23 windows and doors, a completely new and redesigned kitchen with nice cape cod cabinets and counters. All floorings and walls were re-done and most people don't recognize the place when they enter. And the best part was that Paige actually came in under his bid and we saved sever thousand dollars! I would recommend Bassett Construction to anyone. Whether it be a brand new build or a major remodel, this is the team for you!
